Licensing & Usage Rights
Every piece in the Artify Images collection is one of four kinds: an original digital work, an AI-assisted illustration created in the tradition of historical botanical and natural-history plates, a restoration of a public-domain source, or an unmodified public-domain reproduction. Each product page states which kind of piece it is.
Personal Use License (included with every purchase)
Every download comes with a Personal Use License. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and it covers enjoying the artwork in your own home and life.
You may:
- Print the artwork for your own home or personal space, in any size.
- Display the file digitally for personal, non-commercial use (for example, on your own screen or digital frame).
- Give a print you made as a personal gift.
You may not:
- Sell, share, or give away the digital file, or post it for download.
- Sell prints, or use the artwork on products for sale (for example, apparel, mugs, cards, or print-on-demand items).
- Use the artwork in advertising, branding, logos, or any commercial project.
- Claim the artwork as your own, or remove any credit or watermark included with it.
- Use the files to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, or to create NFTs.
Commercial and other uses
Using a piece for a business, such as on products for sale, in a publication, on a website, or in advertising, requires a commercial license. Email info@artifyimages.com with the piece you have in mind and how you plan to use it, and we will reply within 1–2 business days with options and pricing. Not sure whether your use counts as personal? Just ask.
Public-domain works
Some pieces are based on historical works that are in the public domain. The original historical artwork remains in the public domain; this license covers the files we prepare and sell.
This page summarizes the license. The full terms are in section 4 of our Terms & Conditions.
