Artify Images exists at the intersection of history and new technology, bringing together historical public domain artwork, faithfully preserved or thoughtfully reimagined, alongside original digital and AI-assisted art created with the same standard of craftsmanship.
Some pieces in this collection are direct reproductions of historical works, restored and prepared for modern printing. Others are new creations: digitally illustrated, inspired by classic traditions like 19th-century botanical plates, or exploring entirely original abstraction and surrealism. Each is chosen or made with the same question in mind: is this something worth living with?
Our Approach
Why Public Domain and Digital Art
Public domain works hold real value: historical botanical illustrations, vintage photography, classic fine art. But so much of it lives forgotten in archives, hard to find and rarely presented well. Part of what Artify Images does is surface that work, restore it where needed, and present it properly.
At the same time, digital tools, including AI-assisted illustration, have opened up new creative possibilities that didn’t exist a generation ago. Artify Images embraces both: honoring what came before, while exploring what’s newly possible.
